The term veterinary medicinal product refers to that substance or preparation that has curative or prophylactic properties for animal diseases that exerts a pharmacological action. Veterinary medicines are divided into: 1. Medicines prepared in pharmacies (galenic); 2. Medicinal products of industrial origin: or industrially prepared medicinal products that have their own name, which can be an invented name or a common or scientific name accompanied by a trademark or by the name of the holder of the marketing authorization, i.e. of the responsible for marketing the medicinal product.
