In recent years there has been an evolution of the types of supplements containing plants placed on the market, with particular reference to the uses of extracts/plants preparations.
For this reason, a circular has been issued that recalls some principles, already enunciated in previous circular, which must be carefully followed by the actors involved in all phases that lead to the marketing of food supplements to pursue the objective of health protection.
