Ministry of Health Circular 4 March 2022 - Ministerial indications for the placing on the market of

With the circular in question, the Directorate General for Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Service of the Ministry of Health provides useful information to allow interested economic operators to place on the market regularly CE marked surgical masks pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2017 / 745, in anticipation of the termination of the state of health emergency as of March 31, 2022

With the revocation of the state of emergency, in fact, it will no longer be possible to place on the market NOT CE marked surgical masks, even if already authorized in derogation by the Higher Institute of Health by virtue of art. 15 DL 17 March 2020 n. 18.

Please note that the ISS validation powers have already ceased as of June 22, 2021.
